NAET® and Autism

Autism is a neurological disorder that is sweeping through the world at an alarming rate, affecting more than 1 in 100 children in the UK, according to 2011 statistics. In 2000, the ratio was approximately 1 in 200. That’s a 50% increase in 10 years.

There is no medication that can treat Autism, and the medications that are currently in force to curb some of the symptoms have side effects such as seizures, addiction, anxiety, hallucinations, depression, infections and paranoia, to name just a few.
Other types of programmes/interventions can involve hours of intensive work, which can prove quite difficult for many families due the practical, emotional and financial commitments necessary.

NAET® has shown remarkable results in children with autism and associated behavioural and learning disorders. A research study carried out in 2005 titled “Improving Communication Skills in Children With Allergy related Autism Using Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques: A Pilot Study” shows the efficacy of NAET® as a natural treatment for autism. The study involved 60 autistic children, out of which 30 received 100 twice weekly treatments for 50 allergens whilst the control group received conventional care. The children receiving NAET® treatment exhibited highly significant improvements in areas of speech, communication skills and other autistic behaviours. Furthermore, 23 of the 30 children (77%) who received treatment were able to attend regular schools.
